I’m Brooke, a 32 year old lawyer who has always been described as vivacious, fun-loving with a keen ability to make light of any situation.  I had the perfect life; a great job, a loving dog and the most amazing boyfriend.  I dreamed of walking down the aisle with the love of my life…that is until he dumped me, on our 6 year anniversary.  I found myself heartbroken, homeless and humorless.  In just a few short days, I was forced to pick up the pieces of my shattered heart, find a new place to call home and begin living my life as single woman.  The purpose of this blog is to chronicle my journey from hopelessness to happiness, finding once again, humor in even the most painful of circumstances.
